My new book is out: De regeneratieve beschaving

What if we designed our society to strengthen people, communities and nature? That question is the starting point of my new book, De regeneratieve beschaving — “The Regenerative Civilization”.
Housing, healthcare, energy, food and democracy are under pressure. In this book, I explore how these challenges connect and how we can redesign the systems behind them. I bring together regeneration, Doughnut Economics, democratic renewal and the possibilities of AI to explore how we can create lasting value, make fairer decisions and change course before problems become crises.
After more than thirty years as an entrepreneur, I believe change begins with questioning what we take for granted. What do we call progress? Which costs do we actually account for? And what do we want to leave our children?
These questions also shape my work beyond writing. Through our regenerative project in Spain, I am putting these ideas into practice, step by step.
With an introductory contribution by Prof. Dr. Andre Leu of Regeneration International, this book invites everyone who believes a different future is possible to help shape it.
The book is currently available in Dutch only.
